Joy Song is a junior at South High School and a staff writer of The Southerner. Since joining the paper in sophomore year, she enjoys writing feature articles, especially on topics related to food and fitness. In addition to the newspaper, she is a member of the Mock Trial club and the Community Action Committee, and can often be found playing clarinet, taking walks, or baking cookies.
