Navya Ghiya is a senior at Great Neck South High and The Southerner’s Sports Editor. Writing has always been close to her heart since she was a child. This is her first year writing for the paper and her second year in journalism. Navya loves to write poems, but writing articles is her newfound interest. You can find her curled up on her couch with a cup of coffee watching her favorite shows or exploring new cafes when she’s not writing.
