Lana is a junior, and she is looking forward to being a Special Features Editor this year! This is her second year taking journalism and her first year on The Southerner. In her free time, she produces music, sings, reads, pours her heart out on blank Google docs, and clumsily translates English paragraphs into Latin. She can also identify almost any Taylor Swift song within half a second of hearing it. It’s up to you to decide whether that’s an accomplishment or problem.

Victoria Wu is a senior at Great Neck South High School and Special Features Editor for The Southerner. She loves to give her opinion on everything under the sun, from entertainment to social issues. Outside of school, she highlights her personal experiences through creative nonfiction and poetry. She also enjoys ice skating, reading, and rooting for the New York Knicks.
