Victoria Wu, Special Features Editor
Victoria Wu is a senior at Great Neck South High School and Special Features Editor for The Southerner. She loves to give her opinion on everything under the sun, from entertainment to social issues. Outside of school, she highlights her personal experiences through creative nonfiction and poetry. She also enjoys ice skating, reading, and rooting for the New York Knicks.
Madeleine Lennox, Editor-in-Chief
Madeleine Lennox is a senior at South High School and Editor-in-Chief of The Southerner with Lana. She hopes to resume analyzing relevant issues and events for the school, and to continue helping to steward the paper during her third year. Outside of school, she is an avid crocheter, painter, and reader. She is co-President of the History Club, an Editor for Exit 33, and co-President of the Art Club.
Lana Miao, Editor-in-Chief
Lana is a senior, and she is so excited to be Editor-in-Chief of The Southerner with Maddie this year! This is her third year taking Journalism and her second year on the paper. In her free time, she enjoys producing music, singing, playing the Pokémon mainline games, and attempting to translate English passages into Latin. Her favorite book is Gone Girl, and she really likes Taylor Swift. Come talk to her about either (or anything else)!
