This past weekend, South’s Government Club attended Yale Model Congress in New Haven, CT. The 28 students who were involved in the conference wrote and debated bills on various topics such as education, energy, and foreign affairs. Sophomores Annabelle Golden and Margaret X., who participated in Model Congress for the first time, both received the Best Legislation award in their committees. In addition, junior Hayden Edelson and senior Jared Horowitz were awarded an Honorable Mention for their excellence in their committees.
