Erin Wong is a senior at South High School and a Staff Writer for The Southerner. This is her first year writing for The Southerner but her second year taking journalism. She loves writing opinion and review articles (especially ones about food!) and occasionally dabbles in scientific writing. Outside of the newspaper, Erin enjoys being a part of science clubs like Science Olympiad, Science Bowl, and Physics Club. When not immersed in these activities, you can usually find Erin running, playing the cello, or walking her cat.
