Annie Yao, Special Features Editor
Ann “Annie” Yao is a junior at GNSHS and is the Special Features Editor for The Southerner. Her writing highlights social issues prevalent across the world whilst connecting them to South High’s student body. Outside of the paper, Annie hopes to do the yearbook justice as Editor-in-Chief and supports her community as a sustainable gardener.
Madeleine Lennox, Special Features Editor
Madeleine Lennox is a sophomore and Special Features Editor of The Southerner. It is her first year on the paper, and she’s looking forward to writing pieces on the humanities and literature, along with news about the school. You may find her reading, doodling, or crocheting when she is not working. She is co-President of the History Club, an Editor for Exit 33, and co-Vice President of the Art Club.
